Bowl

The 14th century

Kashin, circle.

Diameter – 20 cm.

Found near the town of Dubovka, Dubovsky rayon, Volgograd oblast.

Excavations by Evgeny Pavlovich Myskov, 1992.

The ornamented watering bowl with an image of a feline predator in the centre. Watering bowls in blue tones came to the Golden Horde from Central Asia. The most interesting part of the ornament is the decoration of the bowl bottom - various birds and animals were often depicted there.
