Silver. Size 9x8.5x10.5 cm

Found near the village of Oktyabrsky, Oktyabrsky Rayon.

Excavations by Evgeny Pavlovich Myskov, 1995.

A round-bottomed vessel with a spherical body and a low curved rim. The handle is a cast figurine of a hare leaning against the body of the vessel. The hare's front and hind legs are tucked in, the back is arched, the muzzle rests on the front legs, and the ears are pressed to the back. Along the edges of the paws and ears, short oblique lines are engraved, depicting fur. The handle is attached to the vessel with a pin at the top of the hare figurine. Such a vessel could be used as a ritual artifact in a nomadic environment.
