Arrowhead

The 4th-3rd centuries B.C.E.

Bronze. Length 3.7–2.7 cm.

Found near the village of Lyatoshinka, Staropoltavsky rayon.

Excavations by Alexander Vladimirovich Falaleev, 1990.

Three-bladed heads with a hidden or protruding bushing, triangular heads. Arrowheads are an important attribute in the funeral rites of nomads. Regardless of the warrior’s status in society, arrowheads as an element of weapons were placed in graves.
